My project today features new products from the Brutus Monroe and Therm O Web collaboration. If you have not checked out the entire new line of products from Therm O Web, I have a link here to see the full release, which includes Brutus Monroe AND Gina K Collaborations.
To begin my card, I created an A2 sized card base with some white cardstock. Then I trimmed down a panel sheet of the Kaleidoscope Toner Sheet designed by our very own Christopher Alan. I heated up my laminator for about 30 minutes to make sure it was good and hot. Then I foiled the toner sheet with Shattered Rainbow DecoFoil.

Hey there!! Welcome to my post fo the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team Blog Hop: Color Crush 2. This week the team gathers inspiration from a color palette Marie Heiderscheit gave us. If you have all the Surface Inks, they’d go in order like this: Boutique, Plum, Night Sky, Fountain, Sea and Speckled Egg.
I used Distress Inks for my project in Dusty Concord, Salty Ocean, and Cracked PIstachio. Ink blending allows you to form a gradient of color even when you only have a few of the inks on hand.

Good morning everyone. Thank you for hopping along with the Inspiration Team today. The blogs feature the Brutus Monroe Micro Pearls. And I have a very Spring-y card for you today that also showcases this month’s Stamp and Stencil of the Month. Let’s get started!
To begin, I stamped out the Stamp of the Month image three times across the front of the panel. Then I masked off these impressions and stamped the image in between the three to fill out a complete row of tulips. I colored in the images with Copic Markers in the RV and YG families.

Welcome to my post on the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Team Blog Hop. This week the team features ANYTHING we want from Brutus Monroe and I reached for my Aqua Pigments. I cannot get enough of them. The Inspiration Box from January, called Lucky You, included several images of lucky charms. One of them, the double koi stamp, symbolizes the strength of a koi to travel agains the current. I chose this stamp along with blue color scheme of Turquoise, Blue Green and Blue to create this card.
I started by dropping the three analogous colors of Aqua Pigments on my glass mat. I wet the Aqua Pigment Paper with a large paint brush across the center of the card, leaving the top and bottom of the panel dry. Aqua Pigments love water and will swim through it, but stop at the edges of the water. Then I took another dry brush and dropped Turquoise on the left, Blue Green in the middle and Blue on the right. The colors mix a little in the water. For a little more mixing I added a splotch of each color to the others.

Hey there! Great to have you stop by today! I wanted to share this card with you from the Catherine Pooler Welcome Home Release from February 2019. You can see the release here!
For this card, I used Aqua Pigments from Brutus Monroe to create a background of Violet and Blue Green. I dropped some of this liquid water color onto my glass mat and dragged some watercolor paper through it. After the paper dried, I cut it down to a circle and adhered it to a card base I made from Catherine Pooler White Cardstock.

Hi! Welcome to my blog. I’m glad you’ve stopped in today!
This week Kristina Werner did a video on Youtube using Arteza Real Brush Pens to water color a floral design. This inspired me to break out my Artezas and my Concord & 9th Just Love stamp set and get to work.
I stamped the main image out on an A2 size panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock using Midnight Ink from Catherine Pooler. This cardstock works well with Arteza Real Brush Pens because it has a very smooth, tight surface. Color takes a little more time to absorb into its fibers making this cardstock ideal for light watercoloring and intense ink blending techniques.
I colored in the image with lighter colors at first, using a fairly loose hand. I did not pay too much attention to the lines. Then I added some darker colors for shading and loose detail. I even added some drops of white enamel dots on top of some of the flowers.
I stamped the LOVE image with Midnight ink and gave the word a shadow with Arteza markers and a grey Copic marker.
