Steps to Creating this Slimline Pop Up Card

  1. To begin, I die cut the top piece with the pop up mechanism die out of white cardstock.

  2. Then, I die cut the pulling mechanism die out, too.

  3. Next, I die cut the pull tab with the arrow out of white cardstock.

  4. Then, I adhered the pulling slider to the back of the pop up mechanism tab with liquid adhesive.

  5. After that, I stamped the trees out of Deck the Halls and Icing on the Cake Inks and die cut them out.

  6. Then, I stamped the tractor out of Rouge ink and colored in the tires with a black Copic Marker.

  7. Next, I added some chrome details with the Chrome Paint Pen and cut it out.

  8. After that, I stamped the sentiment with Midnight Ink on white cardstock and die cut it out with a circle die.

  9. Then, I stamped snow from dots from the Christmas Tree Stamp Set all over the card front with In the Park Ink.

  10. Next, I adhered the die cut trees, circle and tractor to the front of the sliding panel with glue and foam tape.

  11. After that, I popped the entire sliding front up on the front of a 3.5” wide card base.

  12. Then, I glued the pull tab to the top of the sliding mechanism.

  13. Next, I pressed the arrow into some Deck the Halls Ink and adhered it inside the pull tab with liquid glue.

  14. And to finish it off, I hid a Starbucks Gift Card inside!!
