September 28, 2019 Daniel West
Untitled design.png

Hey there Artie!! I’m so glad you hopped by to see what I created for the Wow & Catherine Pooler Collaboration Hop!

Before we get to my card, I want to mention the giveaway!! Can you say PRIZES?? - Up for grabs —a WOW! Embossing Powder $25 Gift Card and a Catherine Pooler $25 GIft Card

Please comment on each post to be eligible to win 2 x $25, Gift Card to CP or WOW Stores. (including WOW! Embossing Powder & Catherine Pooler blog posts). It will run for one week with the winner announced on Friday, October 4th.

Now to the card!

WOW / CATHERINE POOLER SKYLIGHT EMBOSSING POWDER

I started this card with the star of the show — not the amazing background cover plate, but the JOLLY die cut and the embossing SKYLIGHT embossing powder! Look at all the different facets to this beautiful powder: flecks of silver, gold, white and Skylight ink. They all work together to create a gorgeous metallic shimmer on this jolly die cut! I popped it up on some fun foam for dimension!

Starry Night Cover Plate from Catherine Pooler

Now, look at the background panel! It’s got all kinds of starry shapes, just like when you look at the sky on a clear night. I added some Skylight ink from Catherine Pooler and trimmed down the panel an 1/8th inch on each side and adhered it to the front of an A2-sized card panel.

Catherine Pooler’s Man with the Bag Stamps and Dies

So I die cut the cap and beard and stamped them in Skylight Ink. Then, I took an aqua pen and added some shading in the same color. Then, with a glue pen and some sparkling snow glitter I added some accents to the cap and beard! I popped them up on some foam tape and called it a day!
