Using Karin Brushmarker Pros to Watercolor CCC Best Sledding Stamp Set

Hey there, Artie! Last night on Del & Artie Live, we broke out some new markers — Karin Brushmarker Pros. These markers just hit the crafty scene over the last 18 months. I received three of the metallic decobrushes in a HeroArts kit this year and loved them. But I wanted to try the non-metallic brushes.

I bought the 72 marker set from Marker Universe. (You may want to try a smaller set, like this 26 marker set.) These markers feature vibrant, heavily pigmented, water-based inks. The nylon brush nibs WILL NOT QUIT! You cannot refill these markers, but they have have a large canister of juicy goodness, so I can’t imagine running one dry very quickly.

My first impressions of these markers — I am happy I have them. They will not replace my Copic markers, since they occupy a very different space in my mind. But they could definitely give Zig Brush Pens a run.

You can watch me paint this little stamp set from CCC + Anita Jeram in real time here!
