Hey there Artie! It’s Del! Today we’re joining Hero Arts’ Countdown to Creativity, showing off some peeks at the May 2022 My Monthly Hero Card Kit.

The May 2022 My Monthly Hero kit celebrates the kitchen and all the warmth of a great tile backsplash, stove and cabinets.

Supplies:

1. My Monthly Hero Card Kit - May 2022 (link takes you to the Hero website.)

2. Ink Blending Tool

3. Caramel Ink

4. Cup O Joe Ink

5. Intens-ified Black Ink

6. Copic Markers (find in the list below)

7. Dove White Cardstock

8. Spellbinders Platinum 6

9. MISTI Stamping Tool

10. Precision Glue

11. Foam Tape (the old 3M formula you can tear available here)

Step-by-step Instructions

1. First, I stamped the tile image with Cup O Joe Ink.

2. Then, I added some Caramel Ink in a gradient over it with a blending brush.

3. Next, I trimmed it down to about 2 inches tall and adhered it to the front of a card base.

4. Then, I inlaid it with two white panels — one above and the other below.

5. Next, I die cut the hood, pie, pot and turkey images out with the dies.

6. After that, I colored them in with Copic markers — YR29, YR27, YR24 & YR21, W10, W8, W6 and W4.

7. After that, I stamped a sentiment from the kit with Intens-ified Black Ink.

8. To finish off the card, I popped up the die cuts over the front with foam tape.
