Hero Arts April 2022 My Monthly Hero Countdown to Creativity

Hey there Artie! It’s Del! Today we’re joining Hero Arts’ Countdown to Creativity, showing off some peeks at the April 2022 My Monthly Hero Card Kit.

The April 2022 My Monthly Hero kit celebrates the Mamas and the Papas in our lives. And the main kit has an amazing floral stamp that is the bee’s knees..

I hope you have enjoyed the countdown so far and you are ready to shop when this kit and add-ons go live on Monday, April 4, at 1PM Eastern.

Throughout my post, I will use affiliate links in the photos and hyperlinks. These links let the websites know I sent you their way. For this referral, I receive a percentage of your total purchase price at no additional cost to you. I appreciate your support of my creative efforts.

Step-by-step Instructions

  1. First, I stamped the floral image with Intens-ified Black Ink.

  2. Then, I stenciled in the Rose Madder, Green Hills and Ultra Pink inks with a blending brush.

  3. Next, I die cut the bee image out with its coordinating die.

  4. After that, I trimmed the panel down an inch on all sides and popped it up on the front of a card base.

  5. Then, I die cut the word die out of Dove White Cardstock three times and stacked them up with glue.

  6. Next, I die cut the shadow die out of Vellum and adhered the word over it with glue.

  7. After that, I heat embossed a sentiment from the kit with White Embossing Powder on Pitch Black Cardstock, and trimmed it down.

  8. To finish off the card, I popped it all up over the front with foam tape.
