Hero Arts + Pear Blossom Press E-Z Lites Collaboration

I decided to create a window card with a camping scene and the Music In the Night Window Fancy Die, the Camp Mi Casa & Happy Autumn Forest Stamp Sets to pair with the EZ Lights. There are a few elements I could have used the lights for here, but I went with lighting up the inside of the tent and also the moon!
Steps for Creating the Moonlit Dueling Guitars Card
I started the project by die cutting the Music in the Night die out of some Pitch Black Cardstock.
Next, I stamped out my scene with black ink, masking in the hills behind the tent and adding some extra hills with a black marker.
Then, I colored in the scene with Cool Gray, Blue, and Blue Violet Copic Markers.
Next, I popped up the black die cut frame over the front of the project with foam tape.
Then, I used a craft knife and cut out the inside of the tent — what would be the back of the tent and replaced it with vellum.
After that, I installed the EZ-Lights behind the panel. I positioned the lights behind the moon and tent, then taped them down with purple tape. I adhered the battery unit to the back of the panel with double-sided tape.
Next, I added two layers of foam tape behind the panel and popped it up onto an A2-sized note card.
Then, i added some stars to the sky with a white gel pen.
To finish off the card, I heat embossed the sentiment onto some black cardstock with White Detail Embossing Powder and adhered it to the front of the card with some liquid adhesive.
Then, I spent a full hour just pressing the little girl’s head and watching the card light up again and again. hahahaha
