Steps To Create This Card

  1. First, I created an A2-sized card base with white cardstock by cutting an 8.5” x 11” sheet in half long ways and scoring one piece in half.

  2. Then, I stenciled the background in with Limoncello and Rockin’ Red Inks using a Life-changing Blender Brush.

  3. Next, I added the kids in with the negative stencil and some PFS Hybrid Ink.

  4. Then, I added some gray branches in the background by turning the stencil a bit and brushing in some leftover black ink.

  5. Next, I added some gray clouds with the same brush.

  6. After that, I outlined the image with a white gel pen to add a bit of a back light to the scene.

  7. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Ink on some Pitch Black cardstock and melted white embossing powder over it with a heat too. I trimmed it down to a quarter inch strip and popped it up on the front of my card.

  8. Next, I added some Sands of Time Gem Mix to the front with Bearly Art Glue.

  9. To finish off the project, I trimmed the panel down 1/4” on all sides and popped it all up over the card base with foam tape!
