Hero Arts Tulip Hello Card

Hey there Artie! Tulips happen to be my favorite flower, of course, Daffodils and Roses are always taking their place from time to time. Tulips are super colorable and these little images from Hero Arts are just perfect for Copics.

In this project, I used the Hero Florals Tulips. It’s a small and very affordable stamp set that packs quite a punch.

Steps to Create this Card

  1. To create this card, I masked off a rectangle with post-it tape on an A2-sized panel.

  2. Next, I brushed on some Blue Lagoon Reactive Ink with a blender brush in a gradient from bottom to top.

  3. Then, I stamped the tulips and leaf images out in Copic-friendly black ink.

  4. Next, I colored in the flowers with blues and the stems and leaves with blue-green Copics.

  5. I trimmed down the panel a 1/4” all around and popped it up on the front of a top-folded Dove White card.

  6. Next, I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink and melted White Embossing Powder over it with a heat tool.

  7. I trimmed down the sentiment strip and adhered it to the front with liquid adhesive.
