Catherine Pooler Forever 13 Collection Release Day

Hey there friend! Today, the Forever 13 Collection hits the shop and it is so much fun.

I had the privilege to play with the Totally Rad Bundle! Of course, the I want it all bundle is mighty pretty, too.

The Totally Rad bundle has a lot of sentiment. It brings you back to the skating rink when you were 13 years old in 1987 (well, that’s when I was 13, anyway).

All the cool prints and rad rainbows adorned the Trapper Keepers and locker doors of middle school.

I created several cards with the bundle to inspire you and prompt your own creativity!

For the cards I’m sharing today, I used several items from the bundle.

Supplies:

  1. Totally Rad Patterned Paper

  2. Let the Good Times Roll Stamps & Dies

  3. Star Stencil

  4. Paisley Park Sequins

  5. Faber Castell Whipped Spackle

  6. Black Cardstock

  7. White Cardstock

  8. Alcohol Markers

  9. Acrylic Block

  10. Midnight Ink

To begin, I spread some spackle out onto the front of a card panel with a spatula over the Star Stencil. I pulled up the stencil and let it dry.

Next, I trimmed down the panel to 4 x 5.25”. I stamped out the skates from the Let the Good Times Roll Stamp Set and colored the image in with warm grays and pastels. Then, I die cut the image out with its coordinating die.

Next, I created two strips out of the black cardstock and the rainbow pattern paper and adhered them to the front of the stenciled panel. I stamped and fussy cut the sentiment and popped it up on the front of the panel along with the skates.

To finish off the card, I popped up the panel with fun foam and adhered some Paisley Park Sequins to the front!

I hope you enjoyed this card! I have many more to show you this week. If you have been inspired to shop for any of these supplies, I hope you’ll use my affiliate links. They help me keep Del & Artie up and running at no additional cost to you.
